Box mix brownies are fun to change up and create something easy and delicious. We used a basic box brownie mix and added some Andes candies to get some really fantastic mint brownies.
To make mint brownies, all you need is a box of your favorite brownie mix (we used Betty Crocker Fudge brownie mix) and a box of Andes candies (28 pieces).
We broke up the Andes candies into smaller pieces and set the broken candies aside in a bowl to be added to the brownie mix later.
Prepare your brownie mix as directed on the box.
Once your brownie mix is ready, simply add your broken up Andes candies to the batter.
Pour the batter into a greased 9 x 13 baking pan.
Simple bake the brownies as instructed on the box for using a 9 x 13 pan. You can use a toothpick to make sure the brownies are done (to test, use a toothpick by poking the brownies with the toothpick and if the toothpick comes out clean, the brownies are done baking).
Wait for the mint brownies to cool and serve.
