Recipe: Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins


What's better than banana muffins? Chocolate chip banana muffins!

Chocolate chip banana muffins are so simple to make and are so delicious. Here's what you'll need to get started:

3 ripe bananas
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips

First, you will want to mash your 3 ripe bananas in a small bowl and set aside to add to your dry ingredients (after your dry ingredients have been mixed).


Next, you will want to mix all of your dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking soda and salt) together in a mixing bowl.


Once you have your dry ingredients mixed together, you can add your mashed bananas, egg and melted butter and mix.


Once all of your ingredients are mixed well together, you can mix in your chocolate chips (we used mini chocolate chips).


You will be making 18 muffins so you'll either want to grease your muffin tin cups or use paper liners - we used paper liners. Simply divide the muffin batter evenly among the 18 muffin cups.


Preheat your oven to 325 degrees. You will bake your muffins at 325 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. You can use a toothpick to make sure they are done (to test, use a toothpick by poking one of the muffins with the toothpick and if the toothpick comes out clean, the muffins are done baking).

Wait for the muffins to cool and serve.
