Simple Everyday Living: How I Coupon

I really don't spend a lot of time couponing or checking out store deals. I probably spend an hour a week couponing and going through deals at our local stores and am still able to save money.

Here are some of the ways I save:

I use online coupon sites like coupons.com. I usually check this site a couple of times a week and can usually find a few coupons I am able to use on items that I was already going to purchase anyway.

I use coupons from the Sunday paper (and any coupons that may come in our mail).

I use store coupons (both online and digital).

I take advantage of double coupon days offered at one of our local grocery stores.

I take advantage of any weekly deals at our local stores and pair those deals with coupons when I am able, to save even more money.

I use Kellogg's Family Rewards and use my points to redeem coupons.

Sometimes those savings are small but it is all the small savings that add up to larger savings over time. To see how these small savings add up over time, be sure to check out my Savings Total page where I keep track of some of my coupon and store deals.
