Simple Everyday Living: Daily Savings 2/9/19

Today's savings is from three different locations. First, my husband was going in for a quick hair cut and I just happen to have a coupon that was going to expire soon. It was just one of those times that we received a coupon in the mail, I took two seconds to cut it out and put it in our coupon envelope and we were able to use it and save $5.01. The coupon was for $9.99. My husband went to Great Clips and an adult hair cut there is normally $15.00, so we saved $5.01.

Next, we were able to save $3.00 at Walmart. I had a $3.00 off three Pantene products. We use Pantene shampoo, so we bought three bottles of shampoo for an easy $3.00 savings (coupon from Sunday paper).

Finally, we were able to save $20.44 at one of our local grocery stores. This particular store has double coupons on Saturdays. So between some really good sales, double coupons and e coupons, we were able to save some really good money on this shopping trip. I won't break down every detail but will give you a couple of examples, one example: Sara Lee bread was on sale for $1.50. I had a coupon for $0.50 that doubled for a $1.00 off along with an e coupon for $0.50 making the bread free! Another example is that they had Eggo waffles on sale for $1.99 a box. I had a $0.75 off two coupon which doubled and an e coupon for $0.50 off one box (e coupon was applied to the two boxes I was purchasing). After the sale price and coupons, the final price per box of Eggos was $0.74!
